Taking the plunge

Woohoo! We've just become qualified open water divers.

We took a four day PADI course which involved classroom lessons (turning our brains back on was hard), swimming pool sessions and four dives as well as a written test. Smarty-pants Mark got 100% although Kate was close behind on 96%.

The diving was amazing; Nha Trang is meant to be Vietnam's premier dive site. Swimming amongst the corals, fish and other sea creatures was stunning.

Hey dudes - that sounds absolutely awesome. Shame I didn't lend you my underwater case for the S50 :-(

Not that I'm at all jealous... we're having a great time here. Katie and I are down with some lurgy and have been blessing the loo with some serious chunder. Man my gut aches. Apparently there's a lot of it going around at the moment.

Missing you both,
G x

PS well done Mark - glad that as always you are staying competitive. PPS did I ever mention that I have my advanced open water ;-)
